We have worked with communities in Mozambique and Guinea Bissau in order to improve infrastructures and the quality of sanitation in conjunction with raising levels of access to drinking water through drilling community wells and support for water management committees to guarantee the maintenance and good usage of wells accessible to all the population.
VIDA has opened 8 wells in Mozambique and 50 artesian water boreholes managed by local committees in Guinea Bissau.
Do you remember the project VIVA? With the help of thousands of portuguese people, we were able to open 50 water boreholes in the region of Cacheu – Guinea Bissau.
This was a project by VIDA, envolving directly the families and the communities of the poorest villages in Guinea.
Remember here the steps that were taken on the way to the concretization of this new reality!
